i love getting lost at Arab Street with my mother. i really think she has great taste. it’s different from mine and that’s exactly what i like, cos i know she will always pick out things that i miss. looking at all the fabric from arab street really makes me happy and very geram. it’s like there’s so many possibilities to create so many things from all those raw material but i just dunno where to start. i saw this really nice combination of lavender and turquoise but my mom kinda made me walk away from the shop cos she did not fancy the owners or something like that. and i’ve always thought that arab street only sold fabric for making baju kurung, then i realised that they sold cotton which would be really perfect for blouses. dang i need a good tailor living in my house. and all the cotton fabric had these really sweet details like roses and came in such sweet colors that you could get a toothache just by looking at them. and im gonna just forget that vow i made about not buying anymore sweet things anymore.
